POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences-Planetary Astronomy Laboratory, to enhance research programs. Research interests of the group primarily concern observations of the outer solar system and instrumentation for research on small telescopes at MIT's Wallace Astrophysical Observatory, portable occultation systems (POETS), and the 6.5-m Magellan telescopes (MagIC). The group also collaborates with Lowell Observatory on the HIPO instrument for SOFIA.

REQUIREMENTS: a doctoral degree in astronomy or physics, knowledge of high-speed instrumentation at visible wavelengths, and research experience in planetary astronomy. MIT-00004701
